RBR conversions

Fast and twisting stage in the Spanish Basque country, arguably the most iconic in Richard Burns Rally. Originally designed by Jan Kadeřábek and Lorenzo Clerici, with support from ComeOverGaming. The conversion to AC began under their direction before being handed over to SuperStage for completion.

Original stage from RBR with lush vegetation – although this vegetation looks a bit odd. A tarmac version is included as well.

Beautiful stage crossing both thick forest and countryside, converted from RBR. Like Hradek/Liptakov, junctions are not closed off or indicated so you’ll need to practice using AI line or create good pacenotes. Higher resolution background & improved wood textures can be downloaded here. This update may make the game crash with some versions of CSP, this can be solved by putting the original simtraxx_semetin_trees.kn5 back into the track folder.​

Track converted from RBR, on farm roads with many straights and sharp junctions. Not unlike Ypres but without the ditches… Enable AI line to find your bearings – you actually start pointing in the wrong direction.

Very nice gravel track converted from RBR, unfortunately not well finished. An AI line for layout “Rally1” can be found here.

Beautiful and varied stage crossing hills and towns, with 2 short gravel sections. Junctions are not closed off or indicated so you’ll need to practice using AI line, or create good pacenotes. There’s 2 variants to choose from (not just the same road reversed). At the start it’s not clear where to go: choose “reset to pits”. Lots of roadside objects are missing or invisible, to fix this: remove the first underscore “_” from the files “_simtraxx_grass_add.kn5” and “_simtraxx_hradek__extras.kn5” in the main track folder. Track converted from RBR, a bumpy tarmac road connecting 2 villages separated by a mellow mountain ridge. Excellent stage and great fun to drive.​

This one is in the Netherlands, but like Puy du Lac, it’s not unlike Ypres with straights and sharp junctions, between fields and built-up zones. And there’s ditches here to keep you honest. You’ll need an AI line to figure out where to go: download here. Beware, the creator of the AI line did some some overshooting as well. Track converted from RBR.

Stage originally created for RBR by Eno87, taking the first 8 kms of the real stage along Loch Chon. The conversion to AC by Simtraxx has some visual loose ends, but it’s still a lot better than the recent refurbish on assettocorsaclub – inadvertently demonstrating how planting random 3D trees and GrassFX everywhere can destroy the look of a stage. In any case, without RainFX and MidgesFX support the track can’t ever be considered finished really 🙂

This is actually a mixed-surface stage with several gravel sections, a narrow and bumpy road set in a beautifully decorated environment. Converted from RBR, from the same author of Semetin and Hradek/Liptakov but unfortunately the conversion isn’t well finished. AI line for layout “Osli-Stryckovy” (by Sebou) can be found here.

The road connecting the towns of Peyregrosse and Mandagout through the hills of the Cévennes feels like it was made for rallying. It’s equally rewarding and unforgiving, with perhaps all possible combinations of bends to be negotiated and the memorable crossing of Saint-André-de-Majencoules.​

Very well made Finish rally stage, smooth and flowing with a very narrow and bumpy section in the middle. Track converted from RBR.
